Boni de Souza is a music veteran in Singapore having performed as pianist in the finest Hotels and recording studios since the 1980's e.g. Sheraton,Shangri-la, Hilton, Hyatt, Intercontinental, Pan Pacific, Oriental, Regent, Four Seasons. Recording as session musician and later as producer WEA, EMI, Pony Canyon, Savoir-Faire studios. During the span of his career performing in Hotels as well as teaching at Yamaha Music School (16 years) he was also a highly sought after recording studio session pianist accompanying numerous local as well as regional artistes. Since 2004 he began producing and presenting Arts education music programs introducing the different genres of music e.g.: Classical, Jazz, Blues, Pop, Rock, Fusion, etc for schools and colleges including Composition and Improvisation workshops and continues to do so with the support and endorsement of Singapore's National Arts Council. Boni has an MA in Arts Pedagogy & Practice (La Salle College of Arts) and a Specialist Diploma in Arts Education (N.I.E.) besides his music qualifications in Classical Piano & Guitar (ABRSM UK) and also teaches Music Elective Programs in Secondary Schools.
